From the rise in fuel prices to the increase in food and housing costs, it may feel like the vacations and adventures we once enjoyed in years past is unattainable. We understand, and are feeling the price of inflation as well! So, what are we doing to continue to travel and live the life we love? We have resolved to find our adventures whether they be big or small! You may be asking how does one find adventure? Well, that is a great question that we intend to answer to the best of our ability, in hopes that it will help you find your adventures despite our country's current economic situation.

1. Find Your Why. Your "Why" is the first step, and likely the most important step in anything you resolve to accomplish. Your "Why" will be the core of what motivates you. For Jeff and I, our "Why" is simple, three out of four of our parents passed away in their early to mid 60's. Jeff and I understand that tomorrow is NOT promised. So, we have resolved to enjoy time together NOW, doing what we love...adventuring! What is your Why?

2. Explore Your Own Backyard. Most people think that adventures are found somewhere other than where they live, or somewhere other than their local area, This couldn't be farther from the truth! This country is beautiful, and every state has their own special beauty and things that they are famous for. From the lighthouses off the coast of Maine to the beautiful beaches of Florida, we promise there is no shortage of adventures to be found! As some of you may know, Jeff and I live on the east coast of Florida, and although we travel often, we are not full time RV'ers just yet! As much as we travel outside of Florida, more often we adventure within our local area. One of our favorite websites to find adventures is www.tripadvisor.com. Trip Advisor is our ultimate guide to finding museums, local attractions, nature preserves, historic sites, wineries, breweries, and even restaurants! Some of the best adventures Jeff and I have experience have been in our own state, just a couple of hours from where we live! Where can you adventure in your own local area?

3. Use Money Saving Apps and Programs. Everyone can stand to save some money nowadays! One of the ways that Jeff and I stretch our dollars is to use money saving apps and programs. Some of our favorite apps and programs are:
• TSD Open Roads Discount Fuel Program (Diesel Fuel Only) - Jeff and I save tons of money using the TSD Open Roads Discount Fuel Program! We fill up with up to 400 gallons of diesel using the truck lanes at participating truck stops. Our last fill up we save $27.00 on a tank of diesel! To apply for the Open Roads Program, visit https://myopenroads.com/rv%2Fpersonal-application (be sure to sign up under "Adventuring with Jeff and Tina".
